Implementation of a New Modern Oil Extraction Plant started in the East Kazakhstan Region

Kazakhstan company «ALTAI MAI» has started construction of a multicultural oil extraction plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk worth 12.7 billion tenge. The project is supported by «NC «KAZAKH INVEST» JSC.

The enterprise, located on an area of almost 10 hectares, will produce up to 75,000 tonnes of vegetable oil and 64,000 tonnes of oil meal a year.

The project envisages a highly automated process for the production of vegetable oil. The automation system will control the entire process chain from raw material reception through production up to the shipment of the finished product. The software of each piece of equipment will be integrated into one global program and will automatically determine and regulate the most effective production technology.

«ALTAI MAI» is confident in uninterrupted supplies of raw materials and the plant's technical capabilities - the plant is capable to process more than 500 tons of sunflower seeds or 400 tons of rapeseed a day.

The sunflower and rape seeds used as raw material will be supplied to the plant from Borodulikha, Shemonaikha, Glubokoe, Zyrianovsk, Samara, and Ulan districts of East Kazakhstan region, located near Ust-Kamenogorsk.

The region is confident that the oil extraction plant's products will positively address the issue of import substitution in the future, as well as contribute to the development of exports to China, Uzbekistan, and other countries.
