Akim of Almaty region Kanat Bozumbayev and head of the group of companies "Alina Group" Yerlik Balfanbayev today signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for cooperation in the implementation of two projects with an investment of about 16.3 billion tenge and the creation of over 500 jobs, the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
In particular, the company intends to build a factory for the production of marble flour in the city of Tekeli and create a line of dry building mixtures on its basis.
The second enterprise will be opened on the territory of the Kairat industrial zone in the Talgar region. It will produce various types of paint and varnish products and autoclaved aerated concrete.
As Kanat Bozumbayev emphasized, the new enterprise will become one of the important facilities aimed at reducing the disproportion between the economic development of the Almaty and Taldykorgan regions. According to him, negotiations are underway with several more investors who are ready to open production in the regional center and in the areas closest to it. These will be enterprises that use modern technologies and care about the environment.
“There are plans to open a number of new enterprises in the Taldykorgan region. This includes a small sewing factory, plants for the production of polypropylene pipes, ceramic bricks, reinforced concrete structures and other necessary building materials. We will tailor them to the needs of the region and, most importantly, we will create high-quality jobs.
Thus, through industrialization, we plan to improve people's lives. We will have qualified technical specialists. In parallel, we will develop small and medium-sized businesses. After 2-3 years, residents will feel the positive changes. This is my main task as akim of the region. In this regard, the projects that will be implemented by Alina Group are significant. For our part, we will provide the necessary support and support at all stages. Of course, it is not always possible to implement all plans by 100%, but we will make every effort to ensure that most of them are implemented. This is important for the development of the region and improving the quality of life of the population,” said Kanat Bozumbayev.
The opening of a new enterprise will have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of Tekeli, which, moreover, has a good tourism potential. Given the fact that "Oi-Qaragai Forest Fairy Tale" is one of the largest and most popular year-round resorts, the experience of the management of the "Alina Group" company opens up new perspectives.
This year it is planned to start gasification of the city of Tekeli. All problematic issues, including the modernization of water supply, are under the personal control of the regional akim.
According to the founder of the Alina Group group of companies Yerlik Balfanbaev, the share of the company, which specializes in the production and sale of building and finishing materials, in the domestic market is about 60%, while 15% of the products are exported to Russia and almost all countries of Central Asia.
“Since 1999, our company has been producing building materials. Today we have production sites in 5 cities and 3 regions. Thanks to this, more than 3 thousand people are employed. Today, due to the lack of production capacity, it became necessary to open new enterprises, including in the southern region. Therefore, the proposal for long-term cooperation, received from the leadership of the Almaty region, came in handy. We are very pleased with this and are ready to cooperate. We will also continue to pay great attention to the further development of the tourism industry. The proposed government support opens up new opportunities for us. For example, if now the length of the ski slopes of the Oi-Qaragai Lesnaya Skazka family resort is about 20 km, then with state support in the issue of providing infrastructure, they can be increased to 60 km,” said Balfanbaev.
The signing of the memorandum ended the meeting, marking the beginning of cooperation in the production of building and paint materials.
